Crunchy and savory: Best pork dishes in Araneta City
Last year, Araneta City hosted the country’s successful Guinness World Record attempt for the most variety of pork dishes on display at the Quantum Skyview of the New Gateway Mall 2.
The event opened the celebration of the 3-day National Hog Festival 2024, organized by the National Federation of Hog Farmers, Inc. to promote food security, safety, sovereignty of the local agricultural sector, and tourism. A total of 341 pork dishes, cooked and prepared by participating restaurants and culinary schools, were showcased in long rows of pop-up booths. Out of the 341 dishes, 313 dishes qualified as per Guinness guidelines. Philippines received the Guinness World Record for the most variety of pork dishes.
Restaurants found in Araneta City also took part in the event. And this year, the Hog Festival is set to return at the City of Firsts for another historical feat! Welcome the upcoming Hog Festival with the best pork cuisines in Araneta City.
