I Sea It, I Like It: Seafood Finds in Araneta City

A good, seafood-loaded meal is great for the hot, sunny weather—it makes you feel like you’re just by the beach! Whether you’re yearning for the seaside or searching for food options this Lent, don’t fret because an array of seafood dishes is available here at Araneta City.

World Kitchens (Level 4, Gateway Mall 2)

    Asador de Manila

While Asador de Manila specializes in Cochinillo, you can also explore their menu to find seafood options! The Txipirones Negros Rellenos is an excellent choice; A whole baby squid stuffed with onion, tomato, spices, and its own luscious black ink—this dish is bursting with flavor for sure!

    Prana

Are you a fan of the Indian specialty, the tikka masala? Well, you can enjoy a seafood variation of its rich, creamy flavors through the Salmon Tikka from Prana. Plus you can pair its smoky, vibrant taste with Naan bread on the side!

    Kuro Maguro

Can’t decide what sashimi to have over your rice bowl? Lucky for you, Kuro Maguro offers a little bit of everything in the Kaisen Don. Fresh tuna, salmon, ebi, and more! Along with the sashimi artfully arranged over rice, the set comes with miso soup and fruit on the side.

    Unagi Yukimitsu

If you’re looking for seafood delicacies like eel, Unagi Yukimitsu’s Unagi Hitsumabushi is a must-try. Don’t forget to pour the dashi water (which contains Fish, Soy, and Sesame) over the tender, savory unagi rice bowl for a guaranteed delicious and comforting meal!

TungLok Seafood (Upper Ground, Gateway Mall 2)

At TungLok Seafood, you can’t miss out on the Signature Chili Crab. Fresh crab doused in spicy, buttery goodness—it’s a signature dish for a reason! You can also delight in the Collagen Fish Soup for a healthier, heartier but still scrumptious option.

The Red Crab (Upper Ground B, Gateway Mall 2)

Beyond delicious crab dishes, The Red Crab also offers a variety of Filipino seafood classics! You can try their Smoked Bangus Belly Sarciado which combines the smoky flavor of bangus with a tangy, tomato sauce—or perhaps, indulge in the salty, buttery taste of the Salted Egg Shrimp.
